The 29th edition of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is back! The festival showcases short and medium-length films created by daring adventurers in the heart of wild and remote places. These captivating tales blend sporting feats with human stories, and often go beyond the protagonists' physical prowess alone. Tour enthusiasts immerse themselves in breathtaking films in which activities such as cycling, skiing, climbing, mountaineering, kayaking and many others are at the center of remarkable achievements.

With 23 cities visited, the Quebec tour is one of the largest on the World Tour, which brings together adventure enthusiasts in over 40 countries. The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival is the most prestigious film event of its kind in the world. For the past 49 years in Banff, at the end of October and beginning of November, it has presented festival-goers from the four corners of the globe with some 100 films selected from over 500 short and medium-length films in competition.
