50th edition! The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is back.

Between January and March 2026, the tour will celebrate 50 years of pure excellence! Marvel at spectacular images of exceptional men and women who often push their exploits to the limits of what is possible. Each film explores the intensity of human adventure and the wild beauty of the great outdoors. An unmissable cinematic experience that celebrates passion and daring.

With 23 cities visited, the Quebec tour is one of the largest on the World Tour, which is presented in more than 40 countries. For 50 years in Banff, it has offered festival-goers a hundred films selected from nearly 600 submissions this year, an all-time record. Of these, around 80 are presented to festival-goers.
