With nearly 500 films in competition, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour confirms its status as the world's largest film event of its kind
For 48 years now, The directors of the best adventure films meet in the heart of Banff National Park to submit to the jury of the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival their spectacular expeditions, carried out everywhere on the planet.
In Quebec, our team makes a selection from among the 100 or so films chosen for the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, which takes place in late October and early November each year.
The varied program and the quality of the images make this cinematic event a unique moment for the mountain, nature and adventure lover. Tickets sell out quickly and many cities sell out days and even weeks before the show, so act fast!

Films in the Radical Reels program are presented in their original version (mostly in English), with English subtitles for foreign language narratives; therefore, there are no French subtitles for films in the Radical Reels program. This program is still to be confirmed depending on the availability of films in this category that will be screened in November 2021.
The Quebec tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival is produced by udanakaï média, under the responsibility of Stéphane Corbeil, who has been overseeing this must-see event since 1996. Founder of Espaces magazine, he was its publisher until March 2019.
