Trois explorateurs, nommés « Aventuriers de l’année » par National Geographic, se lancent dans une folle expédition de kayak au Groenland. Avec leur kite, ils remorquent leurs kayaks d’eau vive sur plus de 1 000 km à travers les crevasses de la calotte polaire pour tenter d’atteindre la rivière la plus au nord jamais pagayée. Ce film met en vedette Sarah McNair-Landry, une canadienne qui a grandi à Iqaluit, et une guide polaire de classe mondiale.
