A mother-daughter team set out on a six-month ski traverse in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Over 2300 km over the largest temperate-latitude icecaps in the world. There will be storms. Crazy biblical mountain tempests like you saw in documentaries about Everest as a kid. There will be crevasses, avalanches, sketchy river crossings and bushwhacking through devil’s club and hawthorn when the snowpack gets too low. It is their hope that their journey will motivate others, especially women both young and old, to explore their backyards too.e!
